ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, BROADBAND
We are currently seeking a motivated, smart, and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Associate Producer, Broadband.

The Associate Producer, Broadband works with the heads of the Broadband Department to create and maintain the RipeTV website. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to manage digital projects and production in a fun, fast-paced and collaborative environment.

JOB DUTIES:
Manage the creation and delivery of production assets (graphics, copy, etc)
Maintain existing websites through the use of the CMS
Contribute to the conceptualization and management of new site features
Contribute to the creation of schedules, wireframes, and functional specification documents
Assist in moderating the site community
Help ensure that branding and strategic objectives are being met.
Support the QA process
Prepare traffic and usage reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
Creative self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong writing, editorial and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to finish a project on time and on budget
Ability to deal with changing priorities
Hard working, detail oriented and efficient

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
College degree, preferably in the liberal arts field
Demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously
HTML, graphics and/or Project experience a plus.
PC and/or MAC proficient. Microsoft Office proficient.

PRODUCTION ARTIST
We are currently seeking a motivated, smart, and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Production Artist.

As Production Artist you will work closely with Designers and the heads of the Broadband Department to create and maintain the graphics on the RipeTV website. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to hone their design and graphics production skills in a fun and fast-paced collaborative environment.

JOB DUTIES:
Help maintain and update existing web pages
Help create mockups for new page designs
Maintain archive of web graphic directories
Create graphics updates for daily, weekly and monthly content updates
Execute design concepts into mock-ups for final web pages
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Use existing show package assets to create icons and graphics for web

QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Design Skills such as: Typography, 2D Design, Photography and image editing, Layout and presentation
Creative self-starter with strong follow-through skills
Strong organizational, systemization and production skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and deal with changing priorities
Hard working, detail oriented and efficient

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Web design and digital portfolio examples required. Candidates will be asked to provide links to online samples/websites
BFA, Graphic Design Degree or related field OR 1-3 years of web design/development production experience
Must have solid experience with Photoshop and ImageReady

LEAD EDITOR/WRITER, RIPETV
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, smart, and creative individual to fill the role of Lead Editor/Writer, RipeTV.

As Lead Editor/Writer, RipeTV you will manage a small team of copywriters, and work closely with the heads of the Broadband Department to establish and maintain the editorial voice of RipeTV.com. You will also work with the CEO and other department heads to conceptualize new content ideas for the network. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled writer with big ideas who wants to be a part of creating a powerful entertainment brand.

JOB DUTIES:
Work collaboratively to establish the editorial voice/brand of Ripe TV
Maintain editorial voice throughout site: blog, show descriptions, articles, etc
Provide editorial support to Marketing/PR departments
Manage small team of copywriters
Brainstorm new programming concepts with CEO and department heads
Create and maintain an editorial calendar for the website
Assist in managing the online community
Maintain editorial voice across RipeTV’s distribution partners (e.g. You Tube, MySpace, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Analytical skills and creative experience necessary to address targeted messages to a variety of audiences.
Ability to consistently deliver an established editorial voice in multiple contexts.
Willingness/ability to manage/shape the work of junior writers
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines, as well as deal with changing priorities.
Hard working, detail oriented and efficient
Diplomatic, persistent and friendly
A positive attitude and a willingness to play multiple roles as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio of their written work.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Public Relation or related field is required.
Minimum 6 years experience in writing, publications, or marketing is required. Online experience is strongly preferred.
Proven writing and editing skills; must have thorough knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation and demonstrated accuracy.
Highly developed oral communication skills
Previous experience with online communities a plus.
Proficient in PC and/or MAC based creative environments.

DESIGNER
We are currently seeking a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Designer.

As Designer you will work closely with the heads of the Broadband Department to create and maintain the look of RDE’s web properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to design in a fun, fast-paced, relaxed, and collaborative environment.

JOB DUTIES:
Create comps for new page designs, microsites, games, etc
Help maintain and update existing web page designs
Work with Production Artist to ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly site graphic updates occur smoothly
Work on continuous improvement of usability
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Use existing show package assets to create icons, graphics and pages for web
Provide design support to the Marketing, Production and Talent departments as necessary
Design company swag, invitations, flyers, etc as necessary.
Support implementation of web and content strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent web design skills including: Typography, 2D Design, Photography/image editing, Layout, and Presentation
Additional experience with print design/advertising, collateral, identity, e-marketing and branding a plus.
Creative self-starter with strong follow-through skills
Knowledge of web usability best practices
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

We are currently seeking a motivated, creative, and multi-talented individual to fill the role of Flash Developer.

As Flash Developer you will work closely with the heads of the Broadband Department to create and maintain the Flash components of RDE’s web properties. You will be able to flex both your code and design skills in this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop in a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

JOB DUTIES:
Maintain and update Flash video player components.
Maintain and update other existing Flash elements
Modify existing Flash components to improve usability
Create Flash games, widgets, microsites etc.
Support Marketing and Sales departments by creating rich media ads.
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Participate in QA process
Perform other duties, as job requires

QUALIFICATIONS:
A great head for code and a great eye for design.
Desire to create engaging Web 2.0 user experiences
Understanding of the latest Flash innovations, including remoting, deeplinking, and Flex & Flex Data Services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field.
3+ years experience programming interactive Flash and web content.
Expertise in ActionScript, XML, HTML, CPU/Memory optimization, JavaScript/Flash bridging, cross-browser compatibility, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience working with .flv formatted video, and optimizing code for both streaming and progressive video delivery.
Demonstrated experience with graphic design.
Proficiency in PC and/or MAC based creative environments.

RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER
We are currently seeking a motivated, creative, and multi-talented individual to fill the role of Ruby on Rails Developer.

As our Ruby on Rails Developer, you will help develop a range of new web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a small agile team in a solid environment. You have a neat, thoughtful coding style and have the ability to develop and deploy robust, well-tested applications. Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting. Great communication skills and a high degree of integrity are necessary.

Continue to develop the front and backend of ripetv.com
Port over the existing flow.tv and octanetv.com websites to the platform established on ripetv.com
Ensure cross-browser compatibility functionality (IE 6+, FFx 2+, Saf 2+)
Work with heads of Broadband Department to identify and define new feature sets for the sites and CMS
Participate in QA process

QUALIFICATIONS:
Desire to create engaging Web 2.0 user experiences
Familiarity with BDD/RSpec a plus
Familiarity with Edge Rails/Rails 2.0 strongly preferred.
Strength at debugging and problem solving
Creative self-starter with strong follow-through skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3 years experience working in a web development environment
